Fresh Pan Seared Scallops

Ingredients

  • Large Sea Scallops
  • Himalayan salt
  • Black pepper
  • Saffron
  • Fresh Lemon juice

Scallops are easy to make and a favorite in our family. I add a little salt and black pepper and some saffron to both sides and pan sear them in olive oil. I use my cast iron skillet as much as possible. As soon as they are brown, I flip them over and sear them on the other side. When they feel firm, I take them off the skillet to rest. Then, I squeeze some lemon on top and serve. Very simple yet delicious.
